Dating an echoplex
Yeah, he’s opening for Thugger, but he’s worth a lot more than that pathetic short set. This Dim Mak sign reminded me of how much I loved his Netflix documentary Happy birthday #Steve Aoki 🍰 We were honored to celebrate your big day with you, as well as 20 years strong with #Dim Mak 🙏🏼 Who has time for sleep anyways? I swear they need to make Shazam for artists and celebrities. Sadly, we missed Zedd, who came on right after we left. This was the last show for Red Bull Sound Select’s #30Days In LA concert series. There’s a reason they chose him to close out the concert series.I’m a dating coach, professionally (yes, it’s a real thing), and I hear this all the time.
You’re about to release an album for the first time in your career – why has that taken so long? I may have recorded a few albums so far as Echoplex but for some reasons thay are still sitting on my desktop. The movie does an excellent job of highlighting the struggle to find himself and his sexuality. Anyways, I highkey flew back today specifically to catch opening for Marc, but was glad he brought him back out. I was joking the entire night about how I wanted him to throw a cake at us. Towards the end, for his pretend encore (you know how artists always leave and come back), he played the piano and sang acoustic for everyone. Sound on Sound is a two-CD set of these previously unreleased solo recordings by Poughkeepsie, NY, multi-instrumentalist Joe Mc Phee, dating from 1968 to 1973.The extraordinary tracks document the very early years of Mc Phee's tenor playing (he was intitally a trumpet player, though he was an absolute natural saxophonist) and his omnivorous interest in sound-making devices of all types (from drone organ to nagoya harp, by way of soprano sax and hand percussion).
